Questionnaire
At Posh Poodles, we breed with the intentions of enhancing the physical
characteristics and temperament of our Standard Poodles. Our mission
is to provide the ultimate show quality dog that will surpass all expectations and
provide quality companionship and obedience. We choose the sire that
fits the ideal form of a successful champion, which includes important
characteristics as temperament, agility, obedience, shape, movement,
color, height and weight, and style.
Posh Poodles only breeds when appropriate sire is found to compliment the winning characteristics of our damsel. We require extensive genetic testing before breeding, and all puppies are sold with a health and temperament guarantee. All puppies are raised in our home and socialized with our loving family.
Posh Poodles provides puppies for both companionship and show. We will evaluate each litter and single out puppies with show potential.
The puppies with show potential will be crate and lead trained, trimmed, de wormed, examined by veterinarian, and given its first series of shots. The puppies with show potential will be available after 5 months of age (exceptions will be made for experienced breeders or owners who receive appropriate mentoring). All show quality dogs will be sold on a show contract and will be required to finish their confirmation championship. Upon completion, all ownership rights will be transferred to you as the sole owner.
The companionship puppies will be available after 9 weeks of age, and will be sold on a spay/neuter contract only. We will begin the crate training process and all puppies will be examined by a veterinarian and given shots/de wormed as necessary.
Once you are ready to take your puppy home, we will provide you with the following:
- A fleece blanket with the scent of the mother and siblings
- Paperwork of parent’s and grandparent’s health testing
- Guides on what to feed and not feed your dog
- Guide to owning a Standard Poodle
- Pedigree papers
- Pictures of Sire and Damsel
- Small bag of Dog Food
- Breeder support for the lifetime of the dog
It is important for us to know where our puppies are going and for us to receive the necessary information to screen for our puppies new happy home. We will greatly appreciate the completion of our Puppy Inquiry Form.
A $300 non-refundable deposit will be required to "hold" a puppy.
Currently Available
We will not be accepting requests for breeding until early 2011. It is important to consider the importance of waiting for the appropriate puppy, which will share with you a healthy life and be the epitome of a winning Standard Poodle. We will normally have either black or white puppies. If you have a specific color in mind, we will be more than happy to assist you by referring you to a reputable breeder with available litters.
